Background

Radio Televisión Interamericana, also known as RTI Television, RTI Colombia or RTI Producciones is a Colombian television production company and a former programadora formed in 17 March 1963 by Colombian lawyer Fernando Gómez Agudelo. During the 1990s, it was part of OTI Colombia alongside Producciones Punch, Producciones JES, RCN Television, Caracol Televisión and Datos y Mensajes.

1st Logo (1979-1990)

Visuals: On a blue background with a moving black floor with blue lines, the letters "R", "T", and "I" zoom in to the screen. Three dots then appear at the right side of the letters, RTI Television (1979)while a rounded/outlined rectangle zooms out, followed by "Colombia" in a script font, forming the logo. The logo shines.

Technique: Analog computer animation.

Audio: An ascending orchestra tune, followed by a ascending bell, then a bombastic fanfare with the announcer.

2nd Logo (1990-2000s)

Visuals: On a black/purple gradient background, there is a square. Then a light comes in and reveals the square, which is blue and has the words "RTI" in cursive. A shadow then appears at the back of the text, and the word "COLOMBIA" fades in below.

Technique: Analog computer animation.

Audio: A calm but majestic fanfare.

Availability: This logo was used at the beginning of programs produced by RTI.
