Background
Raaja Pushpa Films was a film production company from India.
Logo (November 19, 1990-February 28, 1997)
Visuals: In a dark room is 2 flares from 2 candles and a silhouette of a statue with the sun behind it. A light from above illuminates the entire statue, (à la the 1984 Dwarakish Chitra logo) revealling 2 candles on both sides, some fruits on a table, a statue of M.G. Ramchandran giving something to his daughter, sitting on what appears to be a water lily, which is on a yellow pedestal with drawings of flowers. It rotates after 4 seconds to reveal 2 sets of text reading:
RAAJA PUSHPA
and on the bottom:
PICTURES
everything stays still for 25 seconds, and flower petals are thrown near the pedestal later, along with smoke rising.
Technique: Practical effects.
Audio: A man singing something in Tamil accompanied by a sitar tune, with a cut off tune made from what sounds like a string in the end.
Audio Variants: On Mappilai Gounder, the man's singing is slightly slower.
Availability: Seen on Kattabomman, Namma Ooru Poovatha, Periya Gounder Ponnu, Nadodi Mannan, and Mappilai Gounder.
