2nd Logo (8 November 1972-28 October 1973)

Visuals:

  • Do Rangeelay: A still frame of an explosion is shown, tinted in a bright saturated yellow color. The text "RANGEELA PRODUCTIONS" fades in at the center, as well as the cursive text "Present" below it. The text fades out, finalizing the logo.
  • Kubra Ashiq: Similar to the Do Rangeelay variation, except the text is black and the background is tinted in a dark desaturated red color. Also, the background is a part of the opening scene of the film, and freezes within half a second.

Technique: Cel animation and live action.

Audio: The sound of the explosion.

Availability: The logo is available for Do Rangeelay and Kubra Ashiq.

Legacy: This logo is often misunderstood since many people still consider the war footage following it on Kubra Ashiq being part of the logo, leading to a big notoriety of being one of the scariest Pakistani logos just because of that part. However, it is only part of the opening scene of said film, and the film actually involves characters from a military background in its plot. This has also been the case for similar supposed logos which also had opening scenes consisting of war footage intertwined with them. The logo, with the same explosion footage was also used again on this logo's second appearance on Do Rangeelay, leading to many people believing it is a supposed "shortened" version of it.
