Background

Schaefer Method Films is a Berlin-based film production company.

Logo (December 1, 2019)

Visuals: On a black background, a red light emerges, slowly floats downwards, and has four lights separated from it, scrolling either to the left or right to form a shock wave surrounding the forming logo. The logo, consisting of a sheep and man with a cane on top of a solid curve and "Schaefer Method Films" in a fancy font, appears through multiple copies flipping in and merging on top of one another. After the lights and waves disappear, a diagonal light-wiping effect gives the logo its red fill. Another set of red lens flare flashes in afterward.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: It begins with a blast, a bass hit, a faint sheep bleat, and a descending whoosh. Then, another bass hit, alongside a set of whooshing and metallic clinking play plus a louder version of the sheep's bleat.

Availability: The logo is seen on Down There in Heaven.
