Background

Schneider's Bakery is the production company of Dan Schneider (a former Head of the Class star and creator of such shows as Drake & Josh, iCarly, Zoey 101, Victorious, Kenan and Kel, and All That), founded in 2003. The company is named after Schneider's father's business located in Memphis, Tennessee.

The studio has been dormant since Schneider parted ways with Nickelodeon in March 2018 due to controversies regarding Schneider himself, which led to two of his remaining shows for the network (Game Shakers and The Adventures of Kid Danger (the latter being an animated spin-off of Henry Danger)) being cancelled, while Henry Danger was renewed for a fifth and final season with Christopher J. Nowak serving as showrunner. However, as of 2021, Schneider has quietly been doing projects since his departure from Nickelodeon and his website still remains active as of now.

Logo: We see a white and green oven (which has the word "Deluxe" in white on the blue oval at the right) against a green background with sparkle patterns on it. The oven then opens up with a cloud of smoke as the company name in an orange '50s-style script font pops out, with a filmstrip on the tail of the "y" in "Bakery" extending toward us.

Variants:

  • During the logo's early usage, it is more darker than usual, the animation is more primitive, the word "Deluxe" is in black, and the sparkles on the wallpaper are clearer.
  • Beginning with the iCarly episode "iMake Sam Girlier", there is a version that has "DANWARP " below the logo swirling in and a small red Wi-Fi signal icon appearing on the top-right of it. This is used to advertise Schneider's social media accounts. Plus, a preheat light is added on top of the oven, where it goes from red to black when the logo appears out of the oven and the logo had to be shrunken down to fit the "DANWARP " name in place.
    • Beginning with the iCarly episode "iLost My Mind", an "@" was added before the name. This variant can also be seen on later episodes of Victorious and iCarly.
  • Starting with Sam & Cat, the entire logo is shrunken down to the oven's size and the oven timers are moving, as well as giving the text in the company name a drop-shadow and the preheat light being pseudo 3D.

Technique: 3D computer animation.

Music/Sounds: A crash sound when the oven door drops and a ding sound (like an oven timer), followed by a man (presumably Dan Schneider himself) saying "Mmmm!".

Music/Sounds Variants:

  • For the DanWarp variant, after the "Mmmm!" sound is heard, a flash is heard when the text forms, and then a ding when it finishes.
  • Sometimes, the show's ending theme either trails off into the logo or plays over the logo.

Availability: Common.

  • Seen on Drake & Josh, Sam & Cat, Victorious, and Zoey 101 on TeenNick and iCarly and on both Nickelodeon and TeenNick, and home media releases of these shows, and specials of them.
  • Also spotted on season 10 of All That whenever TeenNick decides to rerun it.
  • Also seen on seasons 1-4 of Henry Danger, Game Shakers, and more recently The Adventures of Kid Danger.
  • Starting with the season 5 Henry Danger episode, "Danger Things", this logo has been removed and simply has the 2009 Nickelodeon Productions logo at the end. Despite this, it remained in use on Game Shakers until the series' end.
  • Don't expect this to be seen on Danger Force or the 2021 revival of iCarly. Although Schneider is credited as creator/co-creator, he has no involvement with the production of those shows due to his aforementioned departure from Nickelodeon.

Legacy: This logo is popular with fans of Dan Schneider's works, though Schneider's own controversies have tainted the logo for some.
