Background
Shaukat Art Production was a Pakistani film studio owned by film director Syed Shoukat Hussain Rizvi.
1st Logo (May 23, 1947)
This logo and/or capture may be too loud for comfortable viewing.
Please ensure your volume is turned down before watching videos of this logo. |
Logo: On a gray background, we see a figurine of big stylized letters, SAP. Above that is a crescent with something looking like a hand grabbing a thin curvy sword. A ribbon with "SHAUKAT ART PRODUCTIONS" swerves below the figurine. A white flare can be seen behind the crescent and the sword.
FX/SFX: None.
Music/Sounds: A single long note, followed by a male announcer speaking deeply in Urdu.
Availability: Seen on Jugnu.
Editor’s Note: The oldest Pakistani logo on the wiki, given that the country was being formed at that time.
2nd Logo (August 30, 1968)
Nicknames: "SAP from Hell", "Thunderstorm over Lake Shaukat", "Stormy Waters"
Logo: Ripples of dark clouds roll above a lake. As lightning brightens the sky several times, the same figurine from the 1st logo rises up from the lake (the S in "PRODUCTIONS" is missing). A small flare appears on top of the sword after the figurine stops rising.
FX/SFX: The ripples, lightning striking, the figurine rising, the flare, which appear to be live-action.
Music/Sounds: Sounds of a thunderstorm, followed by a male announcer speaking in Urdu (the announcer is different and speaks the same dialogue from the 1st logo).
Availability: Seen on Aashiq.
Editor’s Note: For a Pakistani logo created in 1968, this has cool visual effects. However, the thunder can be startling for those that don't live in Pakistan.
