Background

Shine America was founded in March 2012 as the result of a merger between Shine Americas, Shine USA, and Reveille Productions. It later merged with Endemol USA to form Endemol Shine North America in 2015.

Logo (March 15, 2012-July 29, 2015)

Visuals: On a gold background, there is a bright yellow flash in the center of the screen, similar to the first Shine Australia logo. The corporate Shine Group gold egg flies out of the flash, spins, and rotates to the left. In the egg is a reflection of the US flag. When it moves into place, the words "SHINEAMERICA" appear to the left of the egg. The background turns white as this happens as the entire logo zooms in.

Variants:

  • A shorter version exists.
  • On the GSN revival of Minute to Win It, the logo is superimposed in-credit on the lower-left corner of the screen.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A rock theme with guitars (consisting of bass guitar and electric guitar), a piano, and drums. Composed by Jared Gutstadt and Richard W. Smith. Otherwise, it's the end theme of the show.

Availability: It was seen on seasons 3-6 of MasterChef and MasterChef Junior (up to season 2) on Fox, as well as Gracepoint and Riot. Also plastered the Reveille logo on reruns of the eighth season of The Office on NBC, while the ninth and final season of said show uses that logo.
