Background
Showtime Greats was an Australian movie channel, which was renamed from Encore on March 1, 2004. It broadcast films dating from the 1960s to the early 2000s. Most of their older films came from Showtime Premiere's previously premiered films. The channel closed down on November 14, 2009, and was replaced with three Showtime channels: Showtime Action, Showtime Comedy and Showtime Drama.

Visuals: Over a cloudy sky with the camera panning through it, there are several filmstrips which contain the cloudy sky footage flying around. The logo, consists of "SHOWTIME" with "GREATS" on the bottom-right, is then revealed from the clouds as the filmstrips fly away. Two filmstrips later appear on both sides and flash into an orange curvy spiral behind the logo.
Technique: Live-action and CGI.
Audio: A long-held wind noise. It ends with the channel's three-note theme.
