Background

Significant Productions is Forest Whitaker's company, devoted to films and TV shows made by minorities.

1st Logo (July 6, 2018-August 29, 2021)


Visuals: The text "a Significant P" in a 3D, gold texture and a cursive font zooms out on a black background while "Production" finishes writing itself. Afterwards, a period was added, shining and gradually dying down.

Variant:

  • A still version exists.
  • On Passing, the logo is in black and white as well as in fullscreen.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None.

Availability: It debuted on Sorry to Bother You and can be seen on their other releases such as Godfather of Harlem and Passing.

2nd Logo (June 21, 2024-)

Visuals: Within a gray oil pastel box with an sharp orange horizontal stroke below it, a stylized black "S" with a long lower end is positioned on the right center. "SIGNIFICANT PRODUCTIONS", in a stacked format, is below the logo.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: The logo is seen on Fancy Dance.
