Background
Silver Reel Partners AG (commonly known as Silver Reel) is a Swiss film financing and production company founded in 2009.
1st Logo (2010s-2016)
Logo: On a black background, the text "Silver Reel" in a Calibri font fades and turns to the screen letter by letter while a red lens flare is seen moving from the left to the right. After it dies down, "INVESTING IN ENTERTAINMENT" fades in below.
FX/SFX: The lens flare moving and the letters turning.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: Seen on films from this period such as Under the Skin.
Legacy: It's a boring logo overall, but the next logo is the opposite of that.
2nd Logo (2016-)
Logo: On a dark gray-blue cloudy background, a 3D red rombus diamond shape pops out, which then turns to the company name from before (now in a metallic silver color) in 3D with the same red shape until it stops.
Variants:
- On some films, the logo fades out.
- An open matte version exists.
- An in-credit version is seen at end of films.
- On Most Dangerous Game, the logo shares the screen with the Blackjack Films, Mayhem Pictures, and CBS Television Studios logos.
FX/SFX: 3D animation.
Music/Sounds: A celesta/violin fanfare with repeating high notes.
Availability: Can be seen on films and series such as Unlocked, Breathe, Ride Like a Girl, Most Dangerous Game, among others.
Legacy: An big improvement from the previous logo, with more effort put in this time around.
