Background
Sistema Sandinista De Television (English: Sandinasta Television System) or S.S.T.V. was the state operated television system in Nicaragua. It was run by the socialist revolutionary group FSLN (Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional, English: Sandinista National Liberation Front) after they overthrew the government in 1979 until 1990.
