Background

Sistema Teleducativo Argentino (abbreviated as SITEA) was an Argentinian company mostly active within the 1990s dedicated to producing PSAs of various subjects.

1st Logo (1991-1993)

Visuals: Over a black background, an image of six red figures of people, in an arc, zooms out and stretch into the center. A blue rectangle with the white text "SITEA" flips in from the left to above, and the text "SISTEMA TELEDUCATIVO ARGENTINO" wipes in below.

Variant: On their anti-alcohol PSAs, the text "Premio SANTA CLARA DE ASIS 1991" was shown at the beginning in front of the forming logo.

Technique: Analog computer animation.

Audio: An 8-note rising synthesizer, with the announcer saying "SITEA. Sistema Teleducativo Argentino."

Availability: Though mostly plastered with the next logo on their reels, this can be seen on their early PSAs such as their infamous Masks advert.

2nd Logo (1993-1996)

Visuals: It starts on a blue background, with a red shape merging out into the six figures of people from the former logo. The camera turns into perspective to reveal that the blue background is the blue rectangle from the SITEA logo, and the text "SITEA" fades in front of it. The whole logo moves back, including the text below, "SISTEMA TELEDUCATIVO ARGENTINO".

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as before.

Availability: Can be seen on most of their commercials in the mid 1990s, including their demo reels.
