Background

Speed Racer Enterprises was an American company that bought the rights to the Speed Racer franchise. In 2013, Tatsunoko, the original studio that produced Speed Racer, bought back the rights to it, and Speed Racer Enterprises likely shut down.

1st Logo (1993)

Logo: On a blue background, we see a red and white checkered flag. In front of it are the stacked words "SPEED RACER" in yellow, with a "TM" trademark symbol at the bottom right side of the flag. Below the flag is "ENTERPRISES" in a smaller font, and under all this is a copyright notice that reads "© 1993 SPEED RACER ENTERPRISES" in white.

Variant: On The New Adventures of Speed Racer, the white text "EXECUTIVE PRODUCED by" is above the logo.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: A five note dreamy tune.

Music/Sounds Variants:

  • On The New Adventures of Speed Racer, the end theme of the show plays.
  • A low-pitched version exists on NTSC prints of Speed Racer.

Availability: Can be found on early 90s prints of Speed Racer. The variant appears on The New Adventures of Speed Racer.

2nd Logo (May 7, 2008-August 25, 2013)

Logo: On a black background, we see the big red stacked words "SPEED RACER". Between the 2 "R"s is the word "ENTERPRISES" in white. Next to this is the smaller word "INC.", also in white.

FX/SFX: None.

Variant: On later seasons of the show, the logo is in-credit.

Music/Sounds: The end theme of the show.

Availability: Appears on Speed Racer: The Next Generation.
