Background

Spin Master Entertainment is the animated film and television department of the Canadian toy and entertainment company, Spin Master.

1st Logo (August 1, 2005-March 10, 2012)

Visuals: Just the 2001-2012 Spin Master logo (which consists of a blue square that has the words "S P I N MASTER" with a customized "S" in a light blue-outlined oval above it) on a black background.

Variant: An in-credit variant exists.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: The ending theme.

Availability: Seen on Black Belts: Tommy Nitro's Karate Adventure, Bakugan: Battle Brawlers and the first season of Redakai: Conquer the Kairu.

2nd Logo (January 4, 2013-)

Visuals: On a black-gray background, with a light coming from the top-center of the screen, a strange 3-D shape that's blue in the center but silver in the edges drop from the top of the screen and hits the center of the screen. When it hits, it bounces back up and part of it breaks apart and forms the current Spin Master logo (a modified version of the previous one). When it lands again, the letters in the word "ENTERTAINMENT" wipes in one by one. While that is happening, the words, "™A trademark of Spin Master Ltd." is seen below.

Variants:

An in-credit variant exists where the "ENTERTAINMENT" and the byline are omitted.
A short version exists where the logo starts when the Spin Master logo is almost formed.
An alternate version exists where the "ENTERTAINMENT" is omitted at the bottom.
A cropped 4x3 version exists. This is used on 4x3 prints of PAW Patrol (e.g. pre-November 2014 split-screen credit airings on Nickelodeon USA).

Technique: CGI by Guru Studio (coincidentally, that company's logo is shown before this one on most Spin Master-produced TV shows).

Audio: Mechanical sounds with whoosh sounds accompanied by a dramatic orchestral theme that doesn't sound out of place in a superhero movie.

Audio Variants:

Sometimes, the end theme of the show plays.
On Abby Hatcher, Super Dinosaur and Mighty Express, a slightly longer version of the theme is used.
On at least one episode of PAW Patrol, the music of the 2009 Nickelodeon Productions logo plays over this and vice versa. International prints of the episode used the correct audio.

Availability: Seen on the second and final season of Redakai: Conquer the Kairu, the first seven seasons of PAW Patrol, Tenkai Knights, Rusty Rivets, Abby Hatcher, Super Dinosaur, and Mighty Express, among others.

The short version is seen on Little Charmers.
The cropped version is seen on Nickelodeon USA's split-screen credit airings of PAW Patrol from August 2013 until November 2014.
The animated version was last seen on the final episode of Mighty Express, while the in-credit variant is still used on other shows.

Legacy: This logo is very iconic amongst fans of PAW Patrol.

3rd Logo (April 2, 2021-)

Visuals: On an azure background, the Spin Master logo from before, albeit lighter-colored and less shiny, appears above the word "ENTERTAINMENT" in a tall, white, sans-serif font known as Oswald. The logo spins once and shines afterward.

Variant: On a DVD version of PAW Patrol: The Movie's KCA spot, the logo is next to the Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies logos.

Technique: CGI by Mikros Animation.

Audio: A whoosh sound and a shining sound. Otherwise, it's the ending theme of the show.

Availability: It debuted on the eighth season of PAW Patrol, and has appeared on their newer shows like Rubble & Crew and Sago Mini Friends.

4th Logo (PAW Patrol: The Movie custom variant) (August 20, 2021)

Visuals: On the same azure background is the logo rising up as Marshall (from PAW Patrol) runs in from the right, tripping over and crashing into it, causing the logo to spin as he declares "I'm okay!". Chase (also from PAW Patrol) then shows up and uses the grappling hook from his pup-pack to stop the logo from spinning and adjust it while Marshall gets up and sits down. After he does that, "ENTERTAINMENT" flies in and Marshall's hat falls in front of his face, which urges him to look at the audience and cause it to be readjusted, while Chase also faces the audience.

Theatrical Closing Variant: The final product is on a black background and it's also still.

Alternate Descriptive Video Transcriptions: A blue S logo rises bearing the word “Spin Master” The young Dalmatian wearing a fire hat trips in into view, making it spin. The young German Shepherd wearing a policeman’s uniform stops the logo with a grappling cable. The word “Entertainment” appears underneath. Spin Master Entertainment.

Technique: CGI by Mikros Animation (the company behind the last logo). For the closing version, a digital graphic.

Audio: A drumroll, followed by a playful fanfare, accompanied by sound effects and Marshall's voice (provided by either Kingsley Marshall in the US version or Alfie Elliott in the UK version). For the closing version, none.

Availability: This was a custom logo made for PAW Patrol: The Movie, and as such only appeared on that film.

5th Logo (September 29, 2023-)

Visuals: On a blue background, there is a sky blue neon light, which appeared from the left. It moves around in different directions, and a purple light is seen following it. Stars later appear in the background, and the lights start swirling around. The direction of the lights get more rounded which leads to the lights forming an oval with the "S" from the previous logos. More neon lights appear, as a half circle below the oval gets formed with the words "SPIN MASTER" fading in below. The lights dissolve, as "ENTERTAINMENT" in the same font as the last two logos, appears with the letters fading in no particular order. The stars in the background continue moving around until the logo fades out.

Variant: On TV shows, the logo is shortened to its final seconds.

Theatrical Closing Variant: The final product is seen from this logo and it's also still.

Technique: CGI by Mikros Animation (the company behind the last two logos). Digital graphic for the theatrical closing variant.

Audio: A bombastic orchestral fanfare (reminiscent of the 2nd logo) composed by Pinar Toprak. For the closing version, none or the closing theme.

Availability: It debuted on PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, and later seen on season 2 of Rubble & Crew.
