(1984-1987)

Visuals: On a red background, we see two tilted towers made out of white dots crossing themselves diagonally. The Star Play logo (which consists of a purple TV tube shape with aforementioned tower in it and purple & red gradient words "STAR PLAY" between it) on a white background zooms in, and the towers do the same animation, but on a blue background. The letters of the company name rapidly appear one by one, and the logo zooms in again. A camera slides from left to right, showing the logo changing colors and with the letters "R P" being inverted. The logo zooms out repeatedly in sync with the music. A camera slides from left to right again, and the logo zooms out, this time the TV tube being black, the tower and the words being red, and red outlined stars being shown. The logo wipes into blue, and the camera slides to the right again, but a little bit faster each time. The logo zooms out with the same animation as before.

Technique: Camera-controlled animation.

Audio: A droning synth sound, followed by an upbeat synth beep tune, followed by a chorus singing the company name at the end.

Availability: Seen on To Race the Wind, Danger in Paradise, Mile Millards de Dolars and Rivkin: Bounty Hunter.
