1st Logo (1986)

Visuals: On a black background, a white four-pointed star reveals a starfield with a video feedback effect added. A light ray then shoots to the yellow word "STARLIGHT" appearing letter by letter, and it shoots to a yellow six-pointed star above. A yellow word "VIDEO" sandwiched between two white segmented upside-down triangles flips and zooms in. The text slides down slightly to reveal a blue border drawing in. The background changes to blue gradient, and more white stars fade in above. The border changes to yellow, and the inside changes to blue.

Technique: Computer animation with video feedback effects.

Audio: A synth organ tune.

Availability: Seen on The Messenger.

2nd Logo (1992-Late 1990s)

Visuals: On a blue gradient background, many white stars can be seen zooming in above. The words from before, now outlined blue, zoom in with trail effects and settle in the center, turning bronze, and leaving blue copies of them zooming in. The six-pointed star from before zooms out and leaves a blue copy of it, too. A red border zooms out with trail effects, and leaves a copy of it zooming in. Two segmented wings wipe in. The stars turn orange and the inside turns blue. The background changes to a starfield, and the logo shines.

Technique: Backlit animation.

Audio: An ominous trumpet note, followed by a few chime glissandos when the stars zoom in. Afterwards, a majestic orchestral fanfare is heard.

Availability: Seen on German VHS releases of Bride Of Re-Animator, Basket Case, Twin Sisters, Snake Eater 3: His Law and Asterix: Operation Hinkelstein.
