Logo: On a space background with asteroids, stars and space stations, a red outlined triangle writes itself with a flare, and the flare disappears immediately after the triangle is done being formed. The logo rotates to the center position as we can see the 3 letters WTE zooming out with trails to form the Wayang Tinggi Entertainment logo. An asteroid and a flare come in, while "WAYANG TINGGI ENTERTAINMENT SDN. BHD." in a Helvetica Black font spins and zooms out. Two flares slide around the text, and "mempersembahkan" fades in below.
Variants:
- For the closing variant on most releases, "mempersembahkan" doesn't fade in.
- A variant exists where the logo moves up a bit after the triangle is done being formed, the background is slightly different, and the space stations are missing.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A repetitive synth tune that sounds like you would hear on Ninja The Protector, then a hip-hop beat tune followed by a whoosh when two flares slide around the text, ending with a news-like synth tune.
Availability: Seen on some VCD and DVD releases by the company, such as 巧千金 DVDs.
Starmedia Entertainment Sdn. Bhd.
Background
Wayang Tinggi Entertainment was renamed Starmedia Entertainment Sdn. Bhd. during 2008, still being a major record label.
(2008-)
Logo: On a starry background, a twinkle appears. Five stars come flying down, similar to the 2002 and 2011 Paramount Pictures logo. We cut to the mountains with some stars flying, while the camera flies toward the mountains. Some stars fly and bounce while flying toward the hills. We cut to the stars flying as we can see the city in the sea, as the fireworks explode. We cut to the stars flying toward the buildings while the fireworks explode each other. We cut to the future-like buildings with roads, but with a building with a drive-in screen in front of it. The screen contains some psychedelic shapes, as the firework rockets appear flying up and the stars goes into the screen and disappear. Some psychedelic shapes disappear, then the screen explodes to form the Starmedia Entertainment logo. The screen zooms in, the logo slides quickly and finally the flare slides to form the name of the company and the Chinese translation, leaving some particles.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A somewhat dramatic synth theme with the sounds of thunder and whooshes, followed by a descending THX-esque synth piece.
Availability: Current.
