Background

Super Picture Video is the last official Betamax distributor to ever exist in Indonesia. It was founded by Rapi Films founder Gope Samtani.[1] It usually issued Hong Kong martial arts films.

Logo (Late 80s-Early 90s)

Visuals: On a space background with multicolored searchlights, there is a flipping "S" (looks more like a Z though) zooming into the screen. It then crashes into the screen, making the screen flash into a green background with a yellow circle on the center. Over the circle is "pt. SUPER PICTURE VIDEO" and above it is "DIEDARKAN OLEH" ("DISTRIBUTED BY"in Indonesian (also in Malay as well)).

Technique: Chyron effects.

Audio: Funky disco music, which is actually the intro to “Starlette” by The Brooklyn Bronx & Queens Band.

Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]
