Background
Swingin' Ape was a short-lived independent video game company founded by Steve Ranck, Mike Starich and Scott Goffman in 2000 after they left Midway Home Entertainment. The studio only made one game, Metal Arms: A Glitch in the System, before it was acquired by Blizzard Entertainment in 2005.

Logo: On a white background, a cartoon monkey pops up from the bottom of the screen. It starts swinging around the screen on a vine, sporting different outfits every time it passes by. Finally the monkey slams into the screen and lands on a circle, still holding the vine. The green-yellow gradient text "SWINGIN' APE" pops in above the circle, and "STUDIOS" pops in below.
FX/SFX: 2D animation.
Music/Sounds: A violin sting when the monkey first appears, followed by a fast drum beat accompanied by monkey noises. There is a cymbal crash when the circle appears.
Availability: Seen on Metal Arms: A Glitch in the System.
