Background
Syrian Television is the first television station to broadcast in Syria, part of the General Organization of Radio and TV which was founded in July 1960. Broadcasts were in black and white until 1976. In 1995, the channel relaunched its operations after moving to satellite services. As of now, little else is known about the channel.
Logo (July 1960-1976)
This logo is currently missing in action. Please do not add reconstructions of the logo if any exist, as they are likely not accurate to the actual logo. Additionally, do not attempt to add a finalized description of the logo until it has been found in its entirety. |
Visuals: On a black background with dark gray ripples of circles, the Arabic station's name in geometric font is shown.
Technique: Possibly none.
Audio: Currently unknown.
Availability: The only source of the logo (a static image) came from a website called SyrianHistory.Com. [Examples?]
