1st Logo (September 2008-October 1, 2010)


Visuals: There is a green background zoom out to a background (depending on the variant) then two squares dots form a large square the letter S will be in and the other letter V I I I will also appear next to the square with the S and in the end The square with the S will move and then zoom in forming a green background

Variants: There are variants with the different backgrounds

  1. Wee see a woman flowing hair turning around along with water bubbles presumably because she is in the water
  2. Wee zoom into a woman thats on a circular swing along with water bubbles presumably because she is in water
  3. Wee see a woman doing stunts in a hallway then wee see another woman pointing
  4. Wee see a woman standing in the air and then holding her knees

Technique: CGI.

Availability: Seen on finnish tv before the beggining of program or before a commercial break or after the ending of a program

2nd Logo (October 1, 2010-August 1, 2019)


Visuals: In the ending of every variation we see the TV5 logo being formed

Variants: There are some idents used for the channel:

  1. Diamonds are falling. Then a person examines it closely and puts it on a pedestal. After a few more are put on it they turn round and form the logo.
  2. Someone is fishing. The screen zooms in below where packages fall and below that where people are watching ice. After it it zooms on all floors.
  3. We see mirrors turning, flying eyelatch planes and a gun shooting lipstick. At the end there is one picture of the whole army.
  4. A pinball is bounced on the field. It ends up in a sequence that forms a 5.
  5. A luggage is checked in after which it boards a plane.
  6. We see sugar bottles. After which there gets hammered on dice on which "love, work, play" is written. At the end gummy bears are released and dance.
  7. There are multiple objects dancing, after which a giant ball comes along of which squares fall, ducks jump out of and a broken game of tetris is played, after a while the whole thing explodes.


Technique: CGI.

Audio:

  1. Guitar and glass xylophone.
  2. Violin and guitar.
  3. Drum, violin, and clocks at the end.
  4. Violin and some pinball sounds.
  5. Synth of some kind.
  6. A techno piece.

3rd ID (August 1, 2019-)


Visuals: What is shown are four objects in the logo that are light pink the all zoom slightly in the one of them zooms fully in then wee see the TV5 logo being formed from different objects

Variants:

  1. Wee see a pink background. Rest same as logo section
  2. Wee see a man cleaning a room then we see two rectangles moving place between each other along with a boll following them and then the TV5 logo being formed
  3. Shortened variant of 2nd variant with blue background.
  4. Wee see a blue background then the screen zooms out revealing it was a ball then wee zoom out to a grey background and then the screen zooms out of the grey background also revealing it was a ball then the screen zooms out to a fishing background then wee see three balls and then wee zoom in to a turquoise ball then the normal fishing background becomes slightly blue then the screen zooms to a blue ball then we again see three balls on the screen then we finally zoom in to the turquoise ball this time we dont see a fishing background there is a turquoise background and the logo ends with the TV5 Logo being formed


Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: There is a clapping noice on all variants that contain different music in each, such as:

  1. Wee hear some kind of quiet synth along with some drumming
  2. Synth
  3. Some dark theme in the beginning. Rest same as second variant only difference is that the clapping noice isnt heard in the end instead when the other sounds are playing
  4. Wee hear some quiet drumming and choir
