Background
TV Asia was the UK's first channel aimed at the country's Indian diaspora, which time-shared its airtime on the Sky One and The Comedy Channel Astra satellite analogue transponders. TV Asia was also a subscription channel. It ceased transmission in the beginning of 1997 and has been replaced with Zee TV.
(1992-1997)
Visuals: On a black background, an orange gradient circle rises up, resembling the Sun. After, a diamond outline draws in, and then fills with a blue background. Seven green lines spin and move from the bottom. Then, the words "TV ASIA" spin in.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A descending sitar, followed by a catchy Indian tune.
