Just to let you know that the Central 1988 ident actually does appear on the last edition of Central News at Six (South Edition) from December 3, 2006 (at around 1:25 to 1:32 with the words "18 YEARS OF CENTRAL SOUTH" underneath the word "CENTRAL" and the shortlived animated endcap at the end also at around 5:27 to 5:35): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4HUzunLoGc
