Talk:Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment/Warning Screens

Been thinking about the Italian warning screen, maybe the sound description should be changed

I have a hutch that the 'jackhammer' type is actually a recording of a teleprinter/telex machine, possibly a Model 37S or something like that. Hear me out: you know how the text "types in" with the Mickey head? That is fairly similar to how a Telex machine prints out text; as a letter is "printed" the head moves to print out the next letter, and on and on and on. Not to mention the sound -- jackhammers typically are used in construction settings, with metal clanking as the jackhammer does it's thing. The sound, combined with how the text presents itself (not to mention moves up after the section is finished), leads me to believe that they were mimicking something along the lines of a teleprinter/telex, or something of the matter. Hence, I think that maybe, just maybe, that the sound description should be changed to match. TheAmigo67 (talk) 23:02, 24 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
