Background

Taylor Film and Video Production Centre was a film company from Hong Kong.

Logo (1990-1991)

Visuals: There is an extreme close-up of three-dimensional minuscule letters "t" looking up and "f" looking down. It then zooms out with a light and then flashes, taking over the whole screen to reveal a space background (resembling IMAX's 1st logo). Numerous joint of blue big-like sparkles emit to form the blue Chinese text in the bottom of the minuscule letters by order from left to right and then the company name in white, "TAYLOR FILM AND VIDEO PRODUCTION CENTRE" appear in the bottom of the text with the same blue sparkles. The minuscule letters then shine.

Technique: Primitive cel animation.

Audio: A drumroll and low cymbals which segues into a four-note fanfare with the last note being held. On some prints, it could be silent.

Availability: Seen on Figures from Earth.
