Background

Around the time of the Romanian Revolution, the channel became Televiziunea Română Liberă after rebels occupied the TVR building. This era would be short lived as the network was renamed to TVR 1 the next year.

1st ID (22 December 1989-16 February 1990)

ID: On a white background, there is a blue tube box comprised of three ascending parallelograms made up of the colors on the Romanian flag and the channel name in an Impact-like font and stacked format.

Availability: Extinct.

2nd ID (22 December 1989-16 February 1990)

ID: On a blue background, the Romanian flag, split into three pieces, is placed above the channel name in white and capitalization.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Extinct. This ident was also seen on an ITV news broadcast.
