Background

Ten Thirteen Productions is a production company founded by Chris Carter, the creator of The X-Files, Millennium, and The Lone Gunmen. The name of the company is a reference to Carter's birthday: October 13th.

(September 10, 1993-)

Visuals: In a blurred, typewriter font (ITC American Typewriter), the text "TEN THIRTEEN PRODUCTIONS" is seen on a black background with "PRODUCTIONS" below "TEN THIRTEEN". After a few seconds, "in association with" appears below.

Trivia: The voice of the boy is supplied by Nathan Couturier, the son of X-Files supervising sound editor Thierry Couturier.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: We hear the sound of a film reel running, followed by a boy saying "I made this!". Oddly enough, some reruns of the shows don't have the "I made this " with just the film reel running.

Availability: It can be seen on The X-Files (including its revival seasons in 2016 and 2018), Millennium and The Lone Gunmen.
