Screen (1978-1998)

Visuals: On a black background is the word "WARNING" and warning text below in white in an Arial font.

Trivia: All three variants of this warning have a punctuation error: a comma should be placed between "copying" and "re-recording".

Variants:

On early VHS releases, such as the original printings of the first four Learn with Sooty VHS releases, the background is dark blue and the text is also in Helvetica Bold.
Starting in 1991, the word "WARNING" and warning text appear below in white, now in a Friz Quadrata font and surrounded by a white border.

Technique: Chyron effects.

Audio: None.

Availability: Appears on Thames Video releases in the UK from the time-period until 1998.

The first warning variant also strangely appears on the original 1994 UK VHS release of The Wind In The Willows: Winter Tales, due to it reusing the 1986 VHS master.
The second warning variant strangely does not appear at the start of the 1994 UK VHS release of The Wind in the Willows: Paperchase for unknown reasons.
