Background

The Magic Store Productions, known on-screen as simply The Magic Store, was founded in 2005 by Christian Jacobs, Justin Lyon and Scott Schultz, the former of which is also known as the MC Bat Commander for the band The Aquabats! and founded the company Awesome Forces! as well.

Logo (August 20, 2007-)

Visuals: On a purple background, there is a five-pointed blue magic wand bouncing up and down, with little orange-and-white stars coming from its tip. The wand makes an explosion of stars, of which form letters in the company name, except for "I". They appear in a stylized red, orange, and blue color scheme, with the word "THE" arranged vertically next to the letter "M" in "Mag C", and "STORe" below. The wand shortens and takes the place of the letter "I", forming "MagiC".

Variants:

  • Sometimes, the logo appears to be stretched for some unknown reasons. This variant only appeared on a few episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba!.
  • On the Chipotle-sponsored iTunes-exclusive series RAD Lands, the logo is hue-shifted and therefore has a different color scheme. The background is now blue, the red letters are purple, the blue letters and wand are cyan, and the orange letters are magenta.
  • On the Apple TV+ series and reboot Yo Gabba Gabbaland, the logo appears as an in-credit graphic on the right of Awesome Forces!.

Technique: Flash animation.

Audio: The stock sound "Sound Ideas, MAGIC - MAGIC MOVES" (which is a series of chimes) accompanying the wand waving, followed by the harp stock sound "Sound Ideas, HARP - CHORDAL GLISS, UP AND DOWN, REPEATING, MUSIC 02" and a voice quickly saying "Magic!"

Audio Trivia: The "Magic!" sound clip is actually sampled from a Yo Gabba Gabba! pilot segment seen here.

Audio Variants:

  • A silent variant exists. This can only be seen on the French version of a few Yo Gabba Gabba! season 1 episodes.
  • On season 1 of Yo Gabba Gabba!, the "Magic!" sound clip is usually a little louder. After the logo ends, the harp and the chimes fade out.
  • On a few season 2 episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba!, the "Magic!" sound clip is a little louder, so the harp and chime sounds don't fade out before cutting to the 2007 Wildbrain Entertainment logo.
  • On most episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba! and The Aquabats! Super Show!, the "Magic!" sound clip is a little quieter, so the viewer can still hear the harp playing along with the chimes.
  • On the Yo Gabba Gabba! season 4 episode "DJ Lance's Super Music and Toy Room", the "Magic!" sound clip is a little bit out of sync and it's quieter.

Availability: It appears at the end of Yo Gabba Gabba! and it's reboot Yo Gabba Gabbaland, The Aquabats! Super Show!, and RAD Lands. This doesn't appear on the Yo Gabba Gabba!/The Fresh Beat Band crossover episode "Yo! Fresh Beats Go Gabba Gabba!".
