Background

Toonbox is an independent animation studio founded in Russia in 2008 by Pavel Muntyan and Vladimir Ponomarev. Since 2014, the company is based in Paphos (Cyprus).

Logo (May 27, 2009-)

Visuals: On a sky background, there is a blue dot bouncing, making "TooNb x" (with filled in "o"'s) appear. It bounces back on screen from the right and get kicked by a weird thing with 1 eye, getting in place as the missing "o". The thing quickly whooshes over to the left after the kick, and the slogan "Good aNimatioN studio" (with the "o" in "aNimatioN" being an eye) appears below.

Variant: The logo is also sometimes used as a still in-credit logo.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: When the dot bounces, we hear string notes. Then we hear a "wiggle" sound, followed by the sound of the dot being kicked and 2 more string notes. At the end, a "Yeah!" is heard.

Availablity: Current. Was first seen on the Пушкин: Альтернативная история (Pushkin: The Alternate Story) short. Later, it was seen on Qumi-Qumi and Om Nom Stories (in-credit). Then, it was seen on other cartoons and promos by the company like Kit and Kate (in-credit) and Shaman's Quest.
