Background

This is the vanity plate of Krista Vernoff, founded in 2019. The company currently has an overall deal with ABC Signature.

1st Logo (November 12, 2020-June 3, 2021)

Visuals: In a warm forest setting, there are three large bokeh lights that are eventually joined by many light sparkles flying from each side of the screen. As they disappear, the word "Trip the Light" (in Pompiere) fades in with the sparkles overlaying the text. The background also becomes sharper as more sparkles appear.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Sparkling sounds and a batch of people saying "Fantastic!".

Availability: Seen on season 4 of Station 19.

2nd Logo (April 8, 2021-)

Visuals: There is an animation of two lovers surfing on a big wave consisting of multiple scribbles. The words "TRIP THE" in white and "LIGHT" in black, overlap the entire picture.

Variants:

  • On some episodes of season 18 of Grey's Anatomy, the logo shares the screen with the Entertainment One logo.
  • On the Amazon Prime print of the first episode of Rebel, a text reading "Trip the Light Logo" is shown on a black background. Although the logo's audio is heard, this is considered to be an error.

Technique: 2D animation by Penny Zee.

Audio: An ascending guitar sting with a woman whispering the line from before. Otherwise, none.

Availability: Seen on seasons 5 and 6 of Station 19 and the short-lived Rebel. Also seen on Grey's Anatomy, starting with season 18 and ending its use on season 19 after Vernoff's departure from the show.
