Background

This was the vanity card of Marlon Wayans. It was formerly known as BabyWay Productions before taking on its current name. BabyWay was a shortened version of "Baby Wayans"

1st Logo (January 11, 1995-May 20, 1999)

Logo: We see a black and white picture of Shawn and Marlon Wayans as youngsters. The latter is looking downward, while the former is looking straight at the camera, smiling. On top of Shawn are the words "Next to Last Productions" and on top of Marlon are the words "BabyWay Productions", and in between those words is "and", all in a thick white font. The words "in association with" appear at the bottom of the picture, in the same font as the company name.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: An off-screen voice (supposedly that of Shawn Wayans, of course) says, "Look up Marlon, say cheese!" Sometimes, audio from the end of the episode can still be heard.

Music/Sounds Variant: On The WB premiere night on the last few seconds of the spilt screen credit of The Wayans Bros., Michigan J. Frog sings "This has been a production of...." accompanied by a dreamy piano ditty, with the last part heard on the logo.

Availability: Seen on The Wayans Bros.

2nd Logo (January 11, 2013-July 12, 2018)

Logo: On a black background, we see the words "bAby wAy" in a handwritten font, writing itself below. The letter "y" is mirrored at first, but it quickly gets erased and draws it correctly. The word "PRODUCTIONS" in white fades in at the bottom as it goes up.

Variants:

Technique: The words writing in and "PRODUCTIONS" fading in.

Music/Sounds: The chalk pressing against the background and a kid laughing. Sometimes, it's the closing theme or silence.

Availability: Seen on the two A Haunted House films, Fifty Shades of Black and Naked. Also seen on Marlon and Marlon Wayans: Woke-ish.

3rd Logo (August 19, 2021-)

Logo: On a black background, there is a baby stroller. A man and woman fade in and walk up to the stroller and look inside it. Once the woman’s eyes are aimed into the stroller, the couple starts to freak out, causing the man’s hat to go off his head and up to the top and his hair rises up, and so does the woman’s bun. They take off, running away, causing a big chalk cloud to cover them and the stroller to roll away. As those two things happen, the cloud finally settles to reveal the company name zooming in.

Variant: A still version exists.

Technique: Cartoon animation.

Music/Sounds: A cheerful tune, some baby sounds, footsteps as the couple walks up, a very dramatic stringer, a pop as the man’s hat flies off, the couple screaming, another pop as they run away, and lastly more baby sounds.

Music/Sounds Variants:

  • On Marlon Wayans: You Know What It Is, the logo is silent.
  • On Marlon Wayans, the ending theme plays.

Availability: Brand new. Seen on the horror film The Curse Of Bridge Hollow. The still version appears on Marlon Wayans: You Know What It Is and Marlon Wayans: The Headliners.
