These are the logo variations seen on trailer throughout the years by Universal Pictures, with more to be added overtime.


Always (1989): The logo swipes up from United International Pictures logo. Only seen on one international TV spot.


Bird on a Wire (1990): The 1963 Universal logo gets shot at twice, with a flash for each gunshot.


Matinee (1993): The 1991 logo is in black and white.


CB4 (1993): The movie title gets interrupted by the still version of the logo, and gets ripped off on the middle by Albert Brown / M.C. Gusto (played by Chris Rock). Only seen on one TV spot.


Jurassic Park (1993, 2013 Universal Studios Home Entertainment DVD): On the trailer for the 3D re-release in 2013, the 2012 logo is used and the camera zooms in to Isla Nublar on the globe.


Schindler's List (1993): Same as the Matinee variant. Only on the theatrical trailer and TV spot.


Street Fighter (1994, North America):

Fifty Shades of Grey (2015): The logo is black and white.


Jurassic World (2015): The logo is animating in reverse, and when it is almost at the start, the Legendary logo shows up.


Minions (2015): The text is animating backwards behind the globe as it spins back. Then, the continents move together as the camera zooms in.


Crimson Peak (2015): The logo is tinted in crimson, hence the name of the movie.


By the Sea (2015): Same as the movie itself.


Krampus (2015): The globe is tinted in blue, the "UNIVERSAL" text is frozen, and snow falls in the background.


The Secret Life of Pets (2016): Similar to the Hop variant, the globe is replaced with an Easter Egg. Seen on a TV spot.


The Huntsman: Winter's War (2016): The logo is golden.


Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016): Same as the movie itself. Seen on the official trailer.


The Fate of the Furious (2017): The space background has red and blue flares, the globe is silver, the text is black with a silver border, and the byline is white.


The Mummy (2017): The globe turns into sand and dissolves to the left, along with the UNIVERSAL text. Seen on the second trailer.


Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas is You (2017): The snow falls over the logo and the text "UNIVERSAL" is decorated with the Christmas lights.


The House with a Clock in Its Walls (2018): Same as the movie itself, but the logo plays normal in forward. Seen only on the first Official Trailer.


Peppa Pig: Festival of Fun (2019, International?): The print logo is in 3D over a light blue background. It then flips around to show the Entertainment One logo in pink and the Astley Baker Davies logo after that.


Yesterday (2019): The globe goes out due to a power outage along with the "UNIVERSAL" text.


F9 (2021): Same as The Fate of the Furious Super Bowl LI TV spot variant, but it is darker, and the background features a yellowish orange light.


Candyman (2021): Same as the movie itself. Seen on the second trailer.

  • On the TV spot, the logo is boxed on the left and besides with MGM logo on the middle and Monkeypaw Productions on the right.

House of Gucci (2021, International):

  • On the Australian Legacy trailer, the logo is on the left with the MGM logo in the middle and the BRON Studios logo on the right.

No Time to Die (2021, International): The logo spins and crossfades to a film clip.


The Black Phone (2021): On the home media release trailer, the logo is in a shade of teal.


The 355 (2022): The logo tilts clockwise and fades into a nine-way intersection.


Cyrano (2022, International):

  • The print logo is seen in white next to the MGM and BRON logos over a blurry dark background with lights. Seen on the international trailers; the US trailers have the standard on-screen MGM and BRON logos instead.

Jurrasic World Dominion (2022):

  • The logo is made of amber and the background is pure black.
  • On the teaser, it is bylineless.

Pearl (2022, International): Same as the domestic trailer variant, but the "Universal Pictures" text replace "A24" text.


The Munsters (2022): Same as the movie itself.


Moonage Daydream (2022): On the international trailer, the print logo is beside the Neon Distribution print logo and is superimposed on the trailer.


Violent Night (2022): The globe is replaced by a red Christmas ornament, the "UNIVERSAL" text is silver with red rims, the Comcast byline is red and the background is white and snows throughout.


Fast X (2023): The variant from the The Fate of the Furious Super Bowl LI TV spot is used, but the flares have been completely removed, the logo is darker and the "UNIVERSAL" text lights up like car lights.


The Last Voyage of the Demeter (2023): The logo transitions into the DreamWorks Pictures logo.


Oppenheimer (2023): The logo briefly cuts to black.


Genie (2023): Same as the film itself.


My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 (2023, International): The print logo is at the bottom of the Focus Features logo, superimposed over a shot of the Chicago skyline. Seen on the international version of Universal Pictures' social media account.


Argylle (2024): The print logo is gold and superimposed over a shiny brown background with a diamond pattern. This was done by Devastudios and can be seen on their website.


Twisters (2024, North America): The logo starts with a glitch and goes back to normal. Seen on the second trailer.

  • On the international trailer from Indonesia, the leaves appear to be flowing in the wind over the logo.

MaXXXine (2024, International): The 1963 logo used, with the byline.


Wicked: Part One (2024): The logo is green, the color of Oz (and Elphaba).

In the LEGO version of trailer, the logo is same as the Motion Picture counterpart but is made of Lego bricks.
