Universidad Estatal a Distancia is one of the five public universities from Costa Rica.

Visuals: Over a yellow circles moving out of the center on a red background, there are a circular, segmented, white "U", which then splits into two and goes left/right. The circular, segmented, white "U" zooms in from the center and fades out. The circular, segmented, white "U" zooms out to the top and a rounded rectangle (albeit the bottom not rounded) with a horizontal line being attached to the top in black starts zooming out. There are white vertical lines appearing at the bottom, which turns into a stylistic "UNED". The horizontal lines starts forming below, becoming a sans-serif "UNIVERSIDAD ESTATAL A DISTANCIA" below. "COSTA RICA" then appears word-by-word below it.
