2nd Logo (December 1994-July 31, 1998)
Variants: There exists two prototype variants of this screen. Both feature slightly different versions of the Mega Drive/Genesis and Sonic animation at the beginning, with a rearranged version of the logo shown at the end.

Audio Variants:
- On the early prototype variant, no music or sounds are heard.
- On the late prototype variant, the sound effects are different, sounding much simpler, and the jingle comes in earlier than usual.
