::Alright, but please keep in mind that I can't do everything for you. There are times when you may need to create these logo articles by yourself. I mean, that last logo you requested was really easy to describe, so I don't see why you did not create a page for that. == I can't take it anymore ==

I can't take it anymore. I am not doing the Mattel Television page until further notice because there is no predictions. Although Mattel Television will be involved with upcoming TV shows and movies like the untitled ''Bob the Builder'' reboot series, ''Barney's World'', ''Barbie Fashion Battle'' and more because they will all use the Mattel Television logo, but predictions are not allowed. Not the YouTube kind, saying that is goofy. I meant those MP4 Files uploaded on the CLG Wiki. Here's an Exampleː

There is a section called "Direct Upload". First reason, from the Tutorial Guide page:
"Uploaded videos are treated exactly the same as images on pages"
And another thing, those are videos in which nobody captured beforehand, so I had to do the job myself. Camenati (talk) 20:37, 3 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

What did I do wrong?

You are a lot better at working with images than me. After half a year being too nervous to add them to the page, I finally added my captures of the current idents to France 3 (France). Except, only some of them are there. I'm a total wimp with source editing and as such I apparently did something that causes some of the images to show up as just text within the gallery. What did I do wrong? I'm asking you because you really are the master of images on this wiki. AlmightyKingPrawn (talk) 04:19, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

I'm pretty glad to see you getting into the habit of adding images to articles.
For the template you just used, it requires a vertical bar to be added after the file name. What you put between the two bars (the other one indicates a new image in the gallery) indicates a byline for that picture. For example:
  • Byline A
    Byline A
  • Byline B
    Byline B
  • Code:
    {{Gallery|align=center|mode=packed|height=100|width=|France3Silkies1.jpg|Byline A|France3Silkies2.jpg|Byline B|}}

If you don't want bylines, then leave a space between the vertical bars empty, as shown:
    {{Gallery|align=center|mode=packed|height=100|width=|France3Silkies1.jpg| |France3Silkies2.jpg| |}}</nowiki>

I would recommend using the "<gallery>" code more because it is simpler to use and doesn't require two vertical bars in between the images. Just start a new row and add in the file name.
  • A byline
    A byline
  • Code:
    <gallery mode="packed" heights="100">
    France3Silkies1.jpg
    France3Silkies2.jpg|A byline
    France3Silkies3.jpg
    </gallery>
But if you do want to add a byline, then simply insert a vertical bar after the file name and fill in whatever you want to type in. An extra vertical bar at the end of the byline is not required for this to function. Inserting the text "File:" is optional but is also not always required (may have exceptions such as talk pages). Any other questions? Camenati (talk) 04:49, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'm good. Thank you so much! AlmightyKingPrawn (talk) 05:41, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Lot of stuff here too! http://www.reald-mktg.com/index.html AlmightyKingPrawn (talk) 20:17, 12 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

    Sorry to bother you

I know you get tons of requests, and it's probably super annoying, but my dad watched a terrible Eric Roberts movie called The Elevator and showed me the beginning, which had, according to him, "the worst logo ever". It's far from that, but the D Star Entertainment logo is absolutely hilariously awful. It's also nowhere on the internet. I don't know how to rip logos outside of YouTube and Nintendo Switch, so can you do a capture of it, preferably both picture and video? That would be great. The film is on Tubi and in itself has almost zero info on it online. I'll be happy to describe this glorious piece of art once I have a video capture. AlmightyKingPrawn (talk) 18:12, 17 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

    A word of warning

Just deleted your No Limits Fun page. We don't need CP producer pages on here, we have minors viewing and editing. Even with the NSFW template that's not the kind of thing we should be hosting. Talk · Edits 00:40, 21 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

I wanted to know what kind of companies are not accepted at all on this site, so I should've created a forum asking that beforehand instead of making it right away. Can I ask why do you accept porn companies and gory logos on this site since you did give the reason "we have minors on this site"? I understand very well on why CP companies are forbidden but is it because the themes in the company are way too dark?
And as I have previously mentioned in that page's talk page, it was from a VK.com community webpage about the perpetrator and the video in question. Compare the original watermarked version posted there and my edit and you will see they are identical. There is absolutely no downloading of the actual video. Camenati (talk) 00:48, 21 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
We have the NSFW categories to allow people to exercise discretion with regards to porn logos and gorier stuff. a CP producer is beyond even that and might well be pushing even Miraheze's content guidelines as well. Talk · Edits 01:21, 21 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

I struggled with these two and failed. They are on my "Most Sought After" list. My best bet for the former is to buy the either the season 3 or 4 DVDs of Dave's World. Camenati (talk) 08:12, 22 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Well… This capture: https://closinglogosgroup.miraheze.org/wiki/File:The_Producers_Ent_Group_Axelrod_Widdoes_(1995)_(From_-_DVD_release_of_Dave%27s_World_S03E01).png says you got it from the season 3 DVD release of the former. SuperMax124 (talk) 08:18, 22 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
I looked at it again and it turns out the former logo isn't on there. it was stated that Kitten in the Oven Productions was involved with the last two seasons of Dave's World but is not on season 3 of the DVD release although one upload suggested it appeared on an original airing on WCBS New York, uploaded by Rb1330. Maybe it's on the season 4 DVD release but there's no footage of that. Camenati (talk) 08:25, 22 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

So how many more ITV regional production logos left to be made Camenati? --Michael Kenchington (talk) 17:02, 23 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
    A lot.

ITV regional production logos moved to new articles

Hello Camenati, i'm Michael Robert Kenchington and i'm from Ashington, Northumberland, UK and was born on the 4th of July 1986.

BTW, are you planning to move the ITV regional production logos to new articles which include Tyne Tees, Central, Yorkshire, Anglia, Border, Granada, LWT and others?

Also of note, the slanted and underlined BBC logo which was designed by Michael Peters was actually introduced in 1986, according to this: https://www.designweek.co.uk/issues/15-may-1997/5m-bbc-logo-will-save-cash/ Michael Kenchington (talk) 10:47, 18 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Absolutely. The GBH Productions and GBH IDs articles, among several others, have a fine line in between, so it makes sense for the production logos of the ITV regions to be split from the TV idents. However, considering the amount of regions to cover, I must say this will take weeks. Camenati (talk) 16:12, 18 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
OK then Camenati, but i also think the BBC Sport and ITN pages really need expanding with more images, don't you think? --Michael Kenchington (talk) 17:23, 18 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Slanted and underlined BBC logo confusion

Hello again Camenati, i just want to let you that the slanted and underlined BBC logo which was designed by Michael Peters is actually from 1986, according to this: https://www.designweek.co.uk/issues/15-may-1997/5m-bbc-logo-will-save-cash/

The 1986 BBC logo also even appeared on the 9th December 1987 edition of the BBC's Nine O'Clock News with Martyn Lewis CBE and former Meridian newsreader Debbie Thrower and uploaded by YouTube user jamestheposh, see here (at around 3:27 to 3:50): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTOMqx1I39I

The 1986 BBC logo also actually appears on a See For Yourself BBC Review '87 magazine that came with the 2-8 January 1988 edition of the Radio Times released in late December 1987.

On a side note, the 1986 BBC logo with the blue, red and green underlines appears on a white background at the end of BBC programmes on UK Gold from 1992 to 1997 which exists and a still version of the 1997 BBC Video logo also exists as well which was also seen at the end of BBC programmes on UK Gold from 1997 onwards.

    Here's a clip (at around 0:07 to 0:10): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDMOjD6eqX0

    and this as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uUSQPFl_uk

    Thoughts? Michael Kenchington (talk) 19:27, 18 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Interesting. From what I can see, it had occasional use before officially debuting on May 1988. Camenati (talk) 03:18, 21 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

    Thank you so much

I would like to give a really big thanks for your work on Delirium Films (Serbia). I discoved those logos, put their outlines on the page, was stopped from doing more by something I had to do in real life that I don't remember, and... just kind of forgot the page amidst the hundreds others on the wiki that needed cleanup. I am incredibly embarrassed. This is why I made a sandbox yesterday. Thank you for fixing my dumb mistake. AlmightyKingPrawn (talk) 19:36, 22 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

In the Disney Interactive logo, John Sachs says "Coming Soon from Disney Interactive". In the still logo of 1985 Walt Disney Pictures with a white line glowing, John Sachs says "Keep watching after the Pocahontas feature, for an exclusive preview of Disney's 34th animated feature, The Hunchback of Notre Dame". Do you take screenshots to make your captures?

Hey. Do you take screenshots to create logo captures? I am curious because it appears that if there is a video on a page but not an image, you manage to find an image of the logo so quickly, no matter how rare the logo is. Additionally, if this is the method you use in order to make logo captures, could you please tell me if you have any other things you do to the screenshot before uploading it? Jecken (talk) 00:25, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

That's right, using the "Print screen" button on my keyboard. Also, I crop the image to the correct aspect ratio, which includes removing black bars, as well as use content aware fill to remove watermarks. Camenati (talk) 01:20, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

How do you report multiple accounts?

Hey. Now I'm curious how you manage to report multiple accounts, such as this report. I recently made a report myself that mentions another account, but I don't know how to report both at the same time. Can you please tell me what you do in order to report multiple accounts? Jecken (talk) 19:49, 21 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

First, put the accounts you want to report in the username box and write it like a normal report would. Considering the report does not link the userpages for each user, you have to link those userpages manually (add "[[User:NAME1|NAME1]] and [[User:Name2|Name2]] to the title" and duplicate their talk/contribution links. You should also put the second username into the duplicated links, so it will work something like this:
    [[User_Talk:NAME1|Talk]] · [[Special:Contributions/NAME1|Contributions]] · [[Special:DeletedContributions/NAME1|Deleted contributions]] · [[Special:Log/NAME1|All logs]] · [{{fullurl:Special:Log|type=block&page=User:{{urlencode:{{ucfirst:NAME1}}}}}} Block log] · [[Special:Block/NAME1|Block]]<br>[[User_Talk:Name2|Talk]] · [[Special:Contributions/Name2|Contributions]] · [[Special:DeletedContributions/Name2|Deleted contributions]] · [[Special:Log/Name2|All logs]] · [{{fullurl:Special:Log|type=block&page=User:{{urlencode:{{ucfirst:Name2}}}}}} Block log] · [[Special:Block/Name2|Block]] Camenati (talk) 00:26, 22 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

    Hi

I want to combine the Axelrod/Widdoes Productions and Axelrod/Widdoes Entertainment pages due to a minor name change. --RSX-798 (talk) 04:50, 4 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Sorry for putting a low Subscriber page on the wiki.

I know that channel pretty well. PLZ Forgive me. BKBLUEY (talk) 18:58, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

It's alright, no worries. Maybe someday they will hit a million. Camenati (talk) 19:02, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

    Reminder regarding image licenses

Hi, as a reminder, please remember to tag any image you upload with the appropriate copyright license(s). We ask this to make sure that the wiki remains compliant with the United Kingdom's fair dealing system. Thank you! HibiscusCrown20 (talk) 16:52, 22 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the reminder. I use MSUpload and that doesn't automatically add a license to those files, so going back and manually slapping them with a license feels inconvenient but whatever. Camenati (talk) 17:19, 22 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

    About the Cultural Icons category...

Since you're the creator of said category, does it also qualify as a cultural icon if:

    1. it is an icon built in memory of a certain person (examples include the Bronze Statue of Peter the Great, Worker and Kolkhoz Woman and the Statue of Damdin Sükhbaatar)
    2. it is an icon that contains a certain icon from another country's culture/religion but is located in a different country (examples include Neptune's Fountain located in Gdansk)
    3. it is an icon but is centered around a city of that certain country (examples include the Warsaw Mermaid)

I may have worded that poorly but it's just for clarification. (Discussion area ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) 11:02, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

to put it simply, yes for all of those. Camenati (talk) 15:37, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

    May 2023

Could you fill in the description for the Asociación Mexicana de Video logo please? (talk) 21:26, 1 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

    Another watermark-based question-

I have noticed when I was reading the Russian Central Studio of Documentary Films page, the first logo contains videos you have provided that originally have watermarks plastered within it (judging by the very small fragment of the watermark left behind in the first video) but the watermarks are seamlessly removed. What program did you use to remove watermarks in these videos? (Discussion area ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) 11:42, 2 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

I used the tough and lengthy method to remove the watermark. First I find two different captures of the same source. Since both videos have watermarks on them, I mask out a small portion of the second video and place it over the first video's watermark. Effects such as feathering and adjusting the clip's timing and position with the first video's are applied (the second one is hard to execute to make the editing here unnoticeable). Logos by Year Updates

Hello. I'm a new user, and I came here to inform you that 1) the YES Network launched on March 19, 2002 (the date on the AVID:Logos From 2002 page has been updated to match) and 2) the picture of the 2nd Lightstorm Entertainment logo on the AVID:Logos From 1994 page is actually a picture of the 3rd logo (it has been replaced by a actual picture of the 2nd Lightstorm logo). Thanks for your convenience. AUnnamedDragon (Visit my talk page!) 12:07 PM, May 5, 2023 (CET; original time of edit saving)

Alright then. Thanks for the corrections. Camenati (talk) 04:12, 5 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

    Deletion of AVID:M

The deletion of AVID:M was unwarranted, as AVID:A and AVID:B are virtually the same thing but different user group. Both have valid use cases which are to speed up the references to those pages (which is why they exist as shortcuts). -- Cheers, Bukkit (talkcontribsglobalrights) 01:19, 21 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Restored after a brief talk with the other staff members. Camenati (talk) 01:30, 21 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Is it fine if I work on the CBS Dream Team IDs page that you deleted a while ago? WazzupMyBoyz (talk) 22:55, 27 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Sure, I'll restore it as a draft article. Camenati (talk) 22:56, 27 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
And can you work on modifying more of the "Logos From Year" pages? I'd really love to see them brand new! WazzupMyBoyz (talk) 15:30, 28 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Absolutely! There is more to come on the pages' expansion. Camenati (talk) 01:06, 29 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
In addition, can you start adding the colors to each segment of the pages with your next edits? WazzupMyBoyz (talk) 01:24, 29 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

So If AVID is still deciding about when they will move to WikiForge, when will it happen?

Hey there, Grimparsley2672 (also known as DogeDestroyer), so I had decided I would come back as Grimparsley2672, and I did had a thought I was wonder, If AVID is still deciding about when they will move to WikiForge, when will it happen? I'm quite clueless of when it will occur, but to my guess I know it's going to possibly happen on August 31st, which I last remembered. But I'm unsure if that's when it will happen. Can someone at least give me some further details? Grimparsley2672 (talk) 23:09, 5 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Found some new logos you might wanna make drafts for

I discovered three new logos I found and uploaded on AVID, Sad Unicorn (which is a production company founded by Randall Eihorn), Little Ruke, and Double Fried Productions. If you can make drafts out of these logos, it’s favor from me that you can do, and mainly because I’m not really good at making drafts. Would you do that for me please. Chatterleybuns38 (talk) 19:29, 20 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Where did these logos appear besides the owner's website or own pages/videos? Camenati (talk) 21:34, 20 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Found some new logos you might wanna make drafts for

Double Fried appeared on Conviction, Little Ruke appeared on Sex Life, and Sad Unicorn haven’t made it screen debut yet. Chatterleybuns38 (talk) 10:11, 21 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

I found this logo from the web

I found this logo online. This is a production company of animator Allison Craig, director for the animated series, Kiff. Would you like to add this to the wiki. Please

There is a logo that is missing on the wiki already made its screen debut

Thinking Hat Inc, which is the production company of Craig Turk, had offically made it screen debut. Would you like to add it on the wiki. Chatterleybuns38 (talk) 20:55, 27 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

    Found more logos I found.

ESPN 30 for 30 documentary film series, has end credits logos you haven’t even captured yet. Chatterleybuns38 (talk) 00:55, 10 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Alright, but please keep in mind that I can't do everything for you. There are times when you may need to create these logo articles by yourself. I mean, that last logo you requested was really easy to describe, so I don't see why you did not create a page for that. Camenati (talk) 01:05, 10 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

    I can't take it anymore

I can't take it anymore. I am not doing the Mattel Television page until further notice because there is no predictions. Although Mattel Television will be involved with upcoming TV shows and movies like the untitled Bob the Builder reboot series, Barney's World, Barbie Fashion Battle and more because they will all use the Mattel Television logo, but predictions are not allowed.
