Your captures

Information icon Hi, LOCALCOWBOY. One or more of the images you have been uploading appear to be what we call "potato captures"- that is, they have been captured by aiming a camera at a screen. This type of capture is generally not accepted on the CLG Wiki. For quality reasons, captures uploaded here should be direct screen captures, though we do appreciate that this can be difficult with some mediums and technologies. The captures in question have been deleted for now, but if you would like some advice on how to better capture logos, feel free to message me or one of our other experienced users on their talk page. Thank You. Hb1290 (talk) 04:12, 13 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Where logos are and are not seen

Why do you keep putting “Don’t expect to see this logo” on things that the logos do in fact appear on? JamsterYT (talk) 20:41, 23 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Scare/Cheesy Factors

Please don't put scare factors and cheesy factors on pages as you did on Reel One Entertainment (Canada). These were officially phased out in favor of the Editor's Note in late 2018. Hb1290 (talk) 04:10, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please do not claim to be an administrator by adding yourself to CLG:ADMINS. If you’d like admin rights, please apply at CLG:RFA. Thank You. Hb1290 (talk) 01:35, 26 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Bandicam

Hi LOCALCOWBOY, I've deleted your page on Bandicam as it isn't the right kind of logo for this wiki. It's not an on-screen logo for a production or distribution company. Also, please use the proper credits template as outlined on CLG:CREDITS. Thank You. Hb1290 (talk) 05:26, 31 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

PBS E/I

Hello, I deleted your E/I page because it's an onscreen bug, not exactly a production logo. Onscreen bugs do not count Logohub (talk) 07:46, 31 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Formatting

Hello LOCALCOWBOY. Please use the Template:PageCredits template for the credits. Also, "Background" should be in level 3 headings, and use level 3 headings for each logo years (not <big> markups). The FX/SFX should state what happens in the logo, not "None to medium to very high" and such. Print logos also warrant their own pages. Thanks. Logohub (talk) 13:22, 3 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Warning

Please stop adding the Scare/Cheesy Factors to pages, as they were abolished a while ago from CLG. Also please abide by the rules laid out all over this page. Failure to do so will earn you a temporary block. --CooleyBoy10 (talk) 16:11, 25 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Another warning

Please stop adding print logos to main pages; we have a separate series of pages for print logos. If you don't stop, again, you get a temporary block. --CooleyBoy10 (talk) 15:43, 5 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Nickname and scare factor

Please do not add overly long nicknames like the one you added on the Coreminds Films (Philippines) page, and do not add scare factors like you did on said page since we don't use them anymore. Logohub (talk) 17:44, 5 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
