Background

V&S Entertainment (formerly known as VGI Entertainment until 2010) is a British entertainment and distribution company based in Uxbridge, Middlesex. It was founded in 1991, originally based in London, and later moved to Middlesex in 2001, and they didn't have a logo until 1998. They are known for producing and distributed series such as Everything's Rosie, The Eggs, and Ebb and Flo.

Logo (1998-2006)


Visuals: On a black background, two ovals overlap each other: one is large and dark blue and the other is small and white. The latter contains "VGI" with a dark blue dot on top of the "I". Underneath it is "Entertainment ltd" in a cartoony font and the company's website link in white. To the top left of the logo is "Worldwide Distribution by" in white.

Variants:

  • At the beginning of the English dubs of some of SFR shows they distribuited in outside Poland, the VGI logo was seen on top middle corner, and "presents" was in a yellow and black font, and it fades in.

Technique: None, but on the English dub of some SFR shows, fading effects.

Audio: The ending theme of the show.

Audio Variant: On The Eggs, there is a heard that the 4 main characters of the show and the narrator singing "Yeah, Yeah We're The Eggs".

Availability: Can be seen on shows such as The Eggs and Ebb and Flo. The logo's first appearance was on the English dubs of SFR Poland series, such as Jym and Jam (English version of Bolek and Lolek), Ruff's Patch (English version of Reksio), Storks' Tales (English version of Między nami bocianami), Max Bear (English version of the infamous Mis Kudlatek), and Captain Klipper (English version of Podróże kapitana Klipera), during 1998 to 2002, since VGi holds distribution rights of SFR's catalog outside Poland.
