Background

VHD Programs, Inc. was the company that would have handled the VHD videodisc format in the US that had it made it to market.

Logo (1982)

Visuals: A light glows up from off-center, casting out white rays. As the light dies out, a 5x4 group of outlined, transparent squares sweep upwards from the latter, as they slowly zoom forwards. The shapes then change color as in the rainbow palette, then they flash into a row of eight horizontal bars. Once closer enough, the bars separate themselves, as a light is cast from the center, revealing a black rounded rectangle and the VHD logo in yellow zooming in, where a blurred-out blue environment fades behind the latter. The horizontal bars line up towards the latter, leading for the background to fade into cornflower blue, with the remaining bars and the VHD logo glowing in and out. The following stacked text:

Audio: An orchestral piece, full with whooshes.

Availability: Can be spotted on the 1982 LaserDiscs of Paul Simon in Concert, as well as You're The Coach, a prototype interactive home game.
