Background

Variety 7 Films was a French film distribution company.

Logo (April 8-August 12, 1981)

Visuals: On a zooming space background, the balloon-style text "V7", the former letter looking like the radical sign, zooms out. After it stops, "ariety", with the "y"'s end acting as the text's underline, zooms in and places itself in between the characters. Then, "films" in a cursive font writes itself, overlapping with the "y"'s underline. To the bottom right of the screen, "Distribution" fades in.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: A moog synthesised fanfare with a fast tempo
