1st Warning (Mid 1980's-1990's)

Visuals: On a sky blue or blue background, the word "ADVERTENCIA" in green wipes downward, followed by the following text in yellow:

"El propietario del derecho de autor ha licenciado la obra cinematográfica incluyendo su banda sonora contenida en este videocassette sólo para uso doméstico. Todos los derechos quedan reservados. Cualquier divulgación total o parcial de la obra sea a través de copia, edición, adición, exhibición, alquiler, intercambio, préstamo, difusión y/o emisión de exhibiciones"

The text then disappears and is replaced by the following text:

"publicas o qualquier contrato que implique representación o reproducción de este videocassette, total o parcial, sin el consentimiento expreso del proprietario, esta terminantemente prohibido y la realización de qualquiera de esas actividades hará incurrir al infractor en responsibilidades legales y podra dar lugar, además a sanciones penales."

The aforementioned text scrolls up.

Translation: "The copyright owner has licensed the cinematographic work, including its soundtrack, contained in this videocassette for home use only. All rights reserved. Any total or partial disclosure of the work through copying, editing, addition, exhibition, rental, exchange, loan, diffusion and/or emission of public exhibitions or any contract that implies total or partial representation or reproduction of this videocassette, without the express consent of the owner, is strictly prohibited and the performance of any of these activities will incur legal responsibilities to the offender and may also give rise to criminal penalties."

Cualquier utilización distinta está prohibida. Las copias ilicitas y los aparatos utilizados para la reproducción serán objeto de secuestro y destrucción.'

The aforementioned text cuts away to make room for the following text:

'Los infractores serán sancionados con multas, acción por indemnización de daños; así como, prisión de 6 a 18 meses para las comuniaciones públicas no autorizadas y de 1 a 4 años por la reproducción, introducción al país, venta, distribución o puesta en circulación de copias ilicitas. RESERVADOS TODOS LOS DERECHOS. ¡DENUNCIE A LOS INFRACTORES!'
