The Video Collection

1st Screen (April 1985-1989)

Visuals: On a gray background, pink warning text types itself in.

Technique: Chyroned text animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on The Video Collection releases with the first logo, such as various of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe releases.

2nd Screen (6 October 1986-4 September 1995)

Visuals: On the same background as the 1986 Video Collection logo of the time, there is a white box containing a red bar with the word "WARNING" in white at the top and red warning text below it.

Technique: A static graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on The Video Collection releases with the second logo, such as Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, Brum, Tots TV and others.

Video Collection International

Screen (September 11, 1995-July 2005)

Visuals: On the same background as the VCI logo of the time, the white warning text is seen.

Variants:

  • VHS: Behind the warning text, there is a faded VHS tape at the bottom.
  • DVD: A faded VCI logo is behind the text. Also, "COPYRIGHT WARNING" is at the top and the warning text is also altered.

Technique: A static graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on VCI releases from the era, such as later Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends and Brum releases, Jeeves and Wooster, Poirot, Father Ted and others.
