1st Logo (1981)

Visuals: On a black background, a colorful rectangle with a purple rectangle and a golden circle with 2 holes and outlined golden words "video teca" flies in with colorful trail effects and covers the screen. It soon zooms out with trail effects, and then does the same animation, but the rectangles are brown and light green.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A sample of Pachelbel's "Canon in D Major" transposed by a single semitone.

Availability: Seen on Vértigo en Manhattan.

2nd Logo (Mid 1980s)

Visuals: There is the same logo from before, but a grey rectangle overlays the brown rectangle, and the logo zooms out and starts bouncing everywhere (a la DVD screensaver) with trail effects. The logo zooms in.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: An upbeat triumphant tune.

Availability: Seen on Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer.
