Background

Hyperloop One was founded as a transportation company introduced by Elon Musk. In 2017, after Virgin partnered up with the company, it was rebranded to its current name.

(2016-)

Logo: On a blue-gray background, we see a small light blue dot appearing among the others, creating grid lines as the text "hyperloop" draws itself onto it. It then fades to a silver background with the two Os glowing for a second, then a blue line traces the rotated "8" infinite-like symbol as the "one" slides in and "hyperloop" pan to the left to make room for the blue line to spawn.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, the text "GLOBAL CHALLENGE: ROUTE SPOTLIGHT" appears underneath after the animation is done.
  • When Virgin partnered up with the company in 2017, its corporate logo was added next to the name.
  • A white superimposed version exists.
  • A version exists where there is a Here logo with a gray line separating both logos between.

FX/SFX: The dots creating the grid, the text drawing and the lines forming.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: The short logo can be seen at the beginning or end of the videos published by the official Twitter and YouTube accounts. A standalone logo was shown at the live media event to introduce the announcement for the company. It can also be seen on Dave Nguyen's Vimeo channel.
