Background

Whoopee Camp was founded in 1997 in Osaka, Japan. It is best known for the Tomba! games, which are the only two games it has ever made.

Logo (1997-1999)


Visuals: On a white background, the letters that make the text "Whoopee Camp" bounce to the left, and squish together as they land. The screen flashes, changing the logo's quality.

Variant: On Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return, the screen doesn't flash.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A quick drum beat, a bounce, and a high-pitched person saying "Hehehehe! Whoopie!"

Availability: Seen only on Tomba! and Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return, both released on the Playstation.
