Zagreb Film/Logo Variations

These are the logo variations seen throughout the years by Zagreb Film.

Cowboy Jimmy (1957): The logo is superimposed on the opening of the film. "STUDIO ZA CRTANI FILM" is warped underneath its acronym and Eastmancolor's notice is on the bottom left.


Premijera (1957): The logo is set on a turuqoise rug background.


Lažni kanarinac (1958): On a dimly lit blue stone background, the company name is white and has a dark magenta shadow. Underneath the horse, the text is stylized like this:

Osvetnik (1958): The logo is superimposed on an ancient ruins-like background.


Kod fotografa (1959): The background is a vertical red-olive striped pattern with a red glow in the center.


Krava na mjesecu (1959): The background is an outlined burst of a lighter shade of blue.


Piccolo (1959): On a white background, the 1957 horse is revealed in an expanding circle. Then "PROIZVODNJA" and "ZAGREB-FILM STUDIO ZA CRTANI FILM YUGOSLAVIA" appear through a wiping effect. Lastly, the animation for each element in this sequence is played in reverse.


'1001 crtež (1960): The logo is in between filmstrip holes.


Šagrenska koža (1960): It is set on a straw background.


Don Kihot (1961): The background consists of paint splotches and strokes on a wooden surface.


Surogat and Kovačev šegrt (1961): The logo is on a blue carpet background.


Bijeli Osvetnik (1962): The background has a wooden texture made of paint.


Mala kronika (1962): The logo is on a green-tinted newspaper tilted 90 degrees counterclockwise.


Muzikalno prase (1965): The tan background has multiple, horizontal pencil strokes.


Muha (1966): The background consists of a dark blue salt watercolor foreground.


Između usana i čaše (1968): The co-production variant is set to a marble-like background.


Ars Gratia Artis (1970): The co-production variant is on a dark brown stone background with salt stains everywhere.


Gallery (1970): The light blue variant is against a gray carpet background.

On the film's title card, the black and white variant has a rough gold outline to it.


Mačka (1971): The horse is dark blue and the background consists of a quadrilateral rainbow color scheme consisting of the following colors from outer to inner: violet, yellow, gold, lime green, red, and tan.


Mora (1976): The background consists of a green cloudy sky.


Pogrebnik (1979): The background is set to a green-tinted desk with paintbrushes on the top right.


Kugina kuća (1980): The logo is on a dark blue, mostly cloudy sky.


Put k susjedu (1982): Positioned on the bottom left side of the screen, the 1971 logo's box has a black fill and the horse, outline, and text are light blue.
