Background

Zhujiang Film Group is a spin-off of the original company of Pearl River Film Company. The company is a independent spin-off for the later closure of company based in Guangzhou, Guangdong. They didn't use the logo on the 2000, but they used as a plain text in 2001.

1st Logo (placeholder logo) (2001-2002)

Visuals: On a black background is the Chinese text meaning "Zhujiang Film Group" in plain font. Below is "Zhujiang Film Group" in Eurostile font.

Variant: Some of early variants also used a English text in Garamond or Trade Gothic Next Bold.

Audio: Silent.

Availability: It's seen only on China Film Audio & Video Publishing House DVD print of the 1962 movie Nanhai Tide.


2nd Logo (closing logo) (Late 2001?-2008)

Visuals: As only seen in scrolling credits ending of a film, mostly TV movies, we see the Zhujiang Film Group (a shaped abstract "Z") print logo with the Chinese text (unlike as the previous logo.) with "ZHUJIANG FILM GROUP" in a ITC Garamond font.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: The ending theme of the movie.

Availability: As not widely seen in Asian countries, it's seen on many films produced by the company after the company was owned in China.


3rd Logo (2005- )


Visuals: On a black or white background, there is a green square with a abstract "z" made of filmstrips and banner. Underneath, the Chinese text and English is the same as the 2nd logo, but in a Arial font.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: Mostly silent or a opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen on many films produced by Zhujiang Film Group. Also, it's seen on the official website of Zhujiang Film Group, and it was made suspense on 100 Years of Zhujiang Film Group, which it's a placeholder content on the official website of Zhujiang Film Group.
