Logo (1990s-2000s?)
Visuals: On a white background, the camera pans down to reveal a red cartoon filmstrip with the yellow letters "ABC" written on each full cell, and the words "BBEY", "ROADCAST" and "OMMUNICATIONS" written next to each one in a black MC Price Tag Font, highlighted in yellow. The camera zooms upwards to an aerial view of the logo, and a star sparkles on the letters one-by-one, with each getting larger and larger. The finished product is shown still for a few seconds before fading out.
Variants:
- A still variant exists.
- On the Fun Song Factory GMTV Series, the logo is still and has "for" at the top left corner of the logo and the copyright info below.
- Sometimes, the logo fades out early.
Technique: Digital computer animation.
Audio: The same music from the Abbey Home Entertainment logo and the 2nd Tempo Video logo (the ending of "Cops on a Bike" by Paul Keogh).
Audio Variant: On Wow! That's What I Call Nursery Rhymes, the logo is completely silent.
Availability:
- Seen at the end of music-related tapes or programmes from Abbey Home Entertainment, such as Fun Song Factory, Spot videos, and on Wow! That's What I Call Nursery Rhymes, among others.
- The still variant can be seen on Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes, Dirty Beasts and the Fun Song Factory GMTV Series.
- Rarely, the logo can be seen at the beginning of some programmes such as Roald Dahl's The Enormous Crocodile, and is also strangely retained on the DVD release.
