Background

Aguila Home Video was a video distributor in Argentina.

1st Logo (Late 1980s?-Early 1990s?)

Visuals: On a space background with various blue 3D circles shown as a surface-like in a diagonal angle, with a mirror effect applied to it, five shots of video formats and such (quadruplex videotapes, oscillators, etc) scroll in each side and in order. As it gets to the last one which slides out, the words "AGUILA HOME VIDEO" abruptly appear. It is shown in a stacked format, whereas the first word is in a big format, and the other two is in a small format.

Variant: Another version has the words in a red and cyan outlined color. The word "AGUILA" is in a much bolder font.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: "Venus Rapsody" by Rockets.

Availability: Seen on western releases distributed by it's parent company (Kromo's). [Examples?]

2nd Logo (Early-Mid 1990s?)

Visuals: On a black background, a blue eagle from the bottom-left portion flies onto the middle, The words "AGUILA HOME VIDEO" then zoom in below the eagle separately, in the same stacked format. Shortly after, gradient colors rise in, in order: purple, orange and tan in-front of a silhouette of a hill. The words shine three times, in which later everything abruptly turns black as the text "presenta" is seen on-screen.

Technique: Primitive computer animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on later western releases. [Examples?]
