Dedicated to The AVID Team.

Background

In 2007, the CLG Wiki was created on Wetpaint (later WikiFoundry) by Yahoo Closing Logos Group member Silversword55, originally as an alternative to "KRS Logos", an early attempt to archive and describe logos created by Kris Starring.

On May 4, 2020, due to concern of WikiFoundry's overreliance on the now-deprecated Adobe Flash and then-ongoing disputes with WikiFoundry owner Travis, the CLG Wiki moved to Miraheze.

Following the demotion of the site's former management team due to an incident on September 9, 2022, and after overwhelming consensus, the wiki was renamed the Audiovisual Identity Database on September 27, 2022.

In June 2023, AVID moved to WikiForge, following worries about Miraheze ceasing operations.

(October 1, 2022)
